The MCA-Lesotho II Board will operate as an autonomous decision-making body, entrusted with the authority and responsibility of oversight, directing, and making pivotal decisions for MCA-Lesotho II.

The Board of Directors is composed of both government officials fulfilling their official roles and individuals representing private sector entities and civil society organizations. Within this board, there are ten (10) government members representing various ministries, including Finance and Development Planning, Agriculture, Food Security and Nutrition, Health, Local Government, Chieftainship, Home Affairs and Police, Gender, Youth, Sports, Arts, Culture and Social Development, Natural Resources (Water), Trade, Industry, Business Development and Tourism, the Public Service, Labour, and Employment, Law and Justice, and Defense, National Security and Environment.

The private sector is represented by a member who speaks for the Lesotho Chamber of Commerce, SMME Network, and Private Sector Foundation Lesotho, as well as a member of the Federation of Lesotho Women Entrepreneurs. Meanwhile, civil society organizations are represented by three (3) umbrella bodies advocating for youth, people with disabilities, and farmers. These three umbrella bodies are Junior Chamber International Lesotho, Lesotho National Federation of Organizations of the Disabled, and Lesotho National Farmers Union. The Chief Executive Officer of MCA-Lesotho II holds a non-voting position on the board, and the Millennium Challenge Corporation Resident Country Director serves as an observer during all board meetings.

The Board of Directors of MCA-Lesotho II has made a unanimous decision to appoint Ms. Maleshoane Lekomola-Danziger as the Chairperson of the Board. Ms. Lekomola-Danziger currently holds the position of Budget Controller at the Ministry of Finance and Development Planning. She possesses a Masters Degree in International Economics and Trade and a Bachelors Degree in Economics with a minor in Statistics. She has dedicated herself to serving the Government of Lesotho in various finance roles for the past 19 years. Her career progression has seen her hold positions such as Deputy Budget Controller, Chief Budget Officer, and Senior Economist within the Ministry of Finance and Development Planning.

Her professional background is deeply entrenched in public financial management, with a strong focus on budget administration, strategic planning, policy formulation, project implementation, transparency, public engagement, accountability, governance, disaster risk financing, and fiscal responsibility.
