Security Alert: Indefinite Nation-wide Curfew in Lesotho (May 16, 2023)
Location: Lesotho
Event: The Chief of Police announced an indefinite curfew will be imposed in Lesotho from 10:00 P.M. to 4:00 A.M. daily and will be enforced by security personnel throughout the country. This comes after a period of increased violent attacks, to include an attack by gunmen targeting a prominent media personality on Sunday May 14.
