Mission Statement

The American people have a long and close relationship with the Basotho people. The U.S.  Embassy in Lesotho has three primary goals:

1. An improved environment to increase investment and private sector-led economic growth
2. Lesotho achieves the “tipping-point” in its HIV epidemic
3. Strong and effective institutions to underpin Lesotho’s maturing democracy
